The court’s powers will be transferred in their entirety to the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation under a federal law that entered into force on February 5. Russian experts doubtful that alleged NSA surveillance of Medvedev fruitful
Even if the Americans tried to listen to the telephone conversations in 2009 of then-Russian president Dmitri Medvedev, they probably wouldn’t have been able to decipher anything, a well-informed source familiar with the situation told RIA Novosti. The source was commenting on reports released by The Guardian Monday that the US National Security Agency (NSA) had intercepted communications from Medvedev’s delegation during the G20 summit in London.
