Head of Russian Investigative Committee puts check of voting breach reports under control
MOSCOW, September 20 (RAPSI) – Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin on Monday ordered chiefs of investigative departments to conduct check of all reports of election violations the body had received from the Interior Ministry.
Investigators in some regions have already initiated the pre-investigation checks, the Investigative Committee’s press service reports.
Moreover, Bastrykin ordered to conduct a pre-investigation check of the reports of cyberattacks against the federal distance voting platform recourses from abroad.
The Committee’s head put the situation under his personal control, the statement reads.
