MOSCOW, June 16 (RAPSI) – Moscow’s Lefortovsky District Court will proceed with an administrative lawsuit lodged by journalist and blogger Yury Dud challenging his mass media-foreign agent status, the court’s press service has told RAPSI.

The hearing is scheduled for June 30.

In October 2021, Moscow's Zyuzinsky District Court fined Dud 100,000 rubles (over $1,600 at the current exchange rate) in a drug propaganda case. The administrative offense protocol regarding him was drawn up in accordance with the provisions of the Russian Administrative Code envisaging a fine of up to 1.5 million rubles (about $25,000).

This court has already considered a similar case over illegal propaganda or advertising of drugs: last June, it fined rapper Alisher Morgenstern for this offense 100,000 rubles.
