MOSCOW, June 4 (RAPSI) – Public observers for the Constution amending voting will pass a COVID-19 test, the head of the election monitoring team’s working group Maxim Grigoryev has said citing the Central Electoral Commission.

All members of electoral commissions will also take tests for coronavirus, he has added.

Moreover, coronavirus prevention measures including temperature taking, sanitizing and social distancing, masks, gloves and one-use pens, will be taken at all poll districts, according to Grigoryev.

The vote for amendments to the Russian Constitution will be held on July 1. According to the Civic Chamber’s secretary Lydia Mikheyeva, over 128,000 have already filed applications for public election observance.
