MOSCOW, September 26 (RAPSI) – The State Duma adopted a government bill to improve regulation of organizing children’s recreation and health in the third and final reading on Thursday.

Amendments are proposed to the Law on fundamental guarantees of children’s rights in Russia.

The initiative is aimed to provide safe and comfortable conditions for children’s rest in holiday camps, suppress illegal activity in this sphere, strengthen the responsibility of heads of organizations specializing in rest and recreation for the quality of services provided.

The draft law envisages creating a special register of organizations specializing in children’s rest and recreation.

According to the legislative proposal, starting June 1, 2020, only organizations and individual entrepreneurs added to this register would have a right to provide children’s recreation and rest services. The list will be on the open Internet.

The companies would be included in the register after a relevant check, the State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin stated earlier. Repeated violators would be excluded from the list, he added.
