MOSCOW, May 18 - RAPSI. Moscow is ready to discuss alleged arms dealer Viktor Bout's possible return to Russia with the United States, Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said at a Friday briefing.

Earlier, Bout was sentenced to 25 years in prison in the United States.

Lukashevich said Moscow is concerned with the U.S. authorities' plan to transfer Bout to the Florence Federal Correctional Facility for terrorists and dangerous criminals in Colorado.

Bout was sentenced to 25 years in prison by the New York Federal Court after a jury found him guilty of planning to sell arms to the Colombian Revolutionary Armed Forces.

The U.S. agents who dealt with Bout presented themselves as the armed forces' commanders.

The 45-year-old former military officer has denied the charges against him.
