MOSCOW, October 18 (RAPSI) – Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has found Yandex guilty of violating law by distributing the search advertising of betting offices, the watchdog’s statement reads.

Yandex has been ordered to rectify the revealed violation, the statement reads. Materials have been submitted for opening of an administrative case. The company could face a fine of up to 500,000 rubles.

However, according to the FAS, Yandex distributed the ads of two bookmaker's offices named 1xstavka and LEON in the form of clickable links to the companies’ websites.
