MOSCOW, June 1 (RAPSI) – Austria has extradited Russian businessman Denis Yedrenkin charged with embezzling 53 million rubles ($855,000) from a Ural dairy plant, the Prosecutor General’s Office reports Friday.

According to investigators, CEO of Agro Trading company Yedrenkin using his official position stole the money belonging to the Irbitsky Dairy Plant between November 2016 and January 2017.

As the businessmen left Russia, he was put on the international wanted list on embezzlement charges, the statement reads.

In January, Yedrenkin was arrested in Austria. In February, Russian prosecutors forwarded a request for his extradition to the Austrian authorities.
