MOSCOW, May 4 (RAPSI) – Russian national, who stands charged with real estate fraud, was deported from Thailand, the Interior Ministry’s Directorate in the Primorye Territory announced on its website on Thursday.

The 45-year old resident of Vladivostok has been already placed in detention.

The man allegedly committed large scale fraud between July 2007 and August 2008. According to investigators, four people invested their money in the construction of real estate in Thailand. The defendant thus received 8.5 million rubles ($147,500) by deception.

The man was put on the wanted list in 2013. In March 2107, he was arrested in Thailand.
