MOSCOW, March 6 (RAPSI) – Anna Durytska, the Ukrainian girlfriend of murdered Russian opposition politician Boris Nemtsov, has received death threats that authorities are investigating, Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office announced on Friday.

Durytska, who is staying with her parents in Ukraine, filed a complaint on March 5 over threats, according to Ukrainian prosecutors.

Measures have been taken to ensure Durytska's safety.

Nemtsov, co-chair of the Republican Party of Russia – People’s Freedom Party (RPR-PARNAS) and former first deputy prime minister in the Yeltsin government, was fatally shot as he walked home with Durytska in central Moscow late at night on February 27.

Investigators are considering several motives in the murder, including contract murder.

Durytska told the Russian police that she did not see who killed Nemtsov, but that when she turned around she saw a light-colored car driving away.

She was allowed to return to Kiev on Monday.
