MOSCOW, November 7 – RAPSI. A lawyer for a Moscow pharmaceutical company fresh from a five-day bender opened fire from two automatic shotguns on his colleagues while they were sitting at their desks, the Investigative Committee's press service told RIA Novosti. He killed five and injured two.

The tragic event took place at 10 a.m. in north-east Moscow.

“Five people died and several were injured,” the press service said. Criminal proceedings have already been initiated.

“Holding a Vepr-12 carbine, he shot at his colleagues while they were sitting at their desks,” the Investigative Committee’s representative said. Three men and two women died, he stated.

“A woman and a man who were injured are being given medical aid,” he said. The company's security guards detained the lawyer.

The perpetrator identified as Dmitry Vonogradov, 30, is said to have published a manifesto online, in which he declares his "disdain with humanity"
