ROSTOV-ON-DON, July 8 (RAPSI) – The Southern District Military Court has sentenced two members of a Crimean cell of the international terrorist organization Hizb ut-Tahrir banned in Russia to 13 years in high-security penal colony each, the court’s press service has told RAPSI.

According to the case papers, Ernest Ibragimov and Oleg Fedorov joined the terrorist organization in Crimea in 2017. Banned extremist literature, printed and electronic materials of the terrorist organization Hizb ut-Tahrir were seized from their places of living.

The court found them guilty of participating in terrorist activity and preparation to a coup.

In March, the same court sentenced two other members of the same terrorist organization in Crimea to 13 and 17 years in jail.
