MOSCOW, August 2 (RAPSI) – The Preobrazhensky District Court on Monday fined Dani Akel, a defendant in a case over violating anti-coronavirus rules at an unauthorized rally in Moscow in January, 100,000 rubles ($1,400), the court’s press service told RAPSI.

The defendant was found guilty of breaching sanitary and epidemiological norms.

According to police, coronavirus-positive persons ordered to isolation were identified among participants of the Moscow rally on January 23, 2021. A criminal case over violation of sanitary and epidemiological rules was opened over this fact.
