MOSCOW, December 10 (RAPSI) – The Moscow City Court has upheld a ruling of a lower court detaining deputy board chairman of Yedinsitvenny bank Pavel Sychov as part of a criminal case over misappropriation of 900 million rubles (about $14 million), the press-service of the court has told RAPSI.

The defendant will stay in detention until December 23.

Sychov, board chairman Nikita Shestakov and chief of the bank’s credit department Stanislav Yalymov are charged with large scale misappropriation committed by an organized criminal group.

Investigators believe that in 2013-2015 the defendants provided credits estimated at over 900 million rubles to companies not engaged in economic activity.
