MOSCOW, January 17 (RAPSI) – Investigators have asked the Lefortovsky District Court of Moscow to detain Sergey Sokolov, ex-security chief of late tycoon Boris Berezovsky, as part of a case over ammunition trafficking, the court’s spokesperson Yekaterina Krasnova has told RAPSI.

Investigators are also seeking detention of two other defendants, Krasnova said.

Reportedly, two other defendants in the case are Ruslan Milchenko, Director of the Federal Information Center “Analytics and Safety”, and Oleg Antoshin, ex-security chief of Russia’s largest ammonia producer, Togliattiazot. The three arrested men have been allegedly involved in illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, carriage or bearing of weapons.
