MOSCOW, February 20 (RAPSI) – Russia’s Supreme Court will not review a lower court’s ruling in dispute between the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) and Gazprom over public procurement for spare parts and accessories for the park of automotive engineering, court documents read on Monday.

Earlier, FAS ruled that Gazprom and Gazprom Equipment companies violated the law "On procurement of goods, works and services by certain types of legal entities" during the online procurement of equipment for Gazprom Equipment company. Alleged violations amounted to, among other things, requesting additional documents from the contractors and obliging contractors to insure products with their own money.

On February 29, 2016, the Moscow Commercial Court ruled in favor of Gazprom and Gazprom Equipment in this dispute, finding FAS ruling unlawful.

The Supreme Court refused to transfer the appeal to the judicial collegium on economic disputes.
