MOSCOW, April 29 (RAPSI) - The Moscow Commercial Court has rejected a 72.5 million ruble ($32.3 million) claim filed by First IT Alliance against Russian Sports Ministry and the Federal Tourism Agency, RAPSI reports from the courtroom on Monday.

The Federal Treasury is involved in the case as a co-defendant.

A tourism agency representative earlier told RAPSI that the dispute arose over a government contract to develop an automated system to support inbound and domestic tourism as part of a federal targeted program.

First IT Alliance signed a 150 million ($4.8 million) government contract in 2011.

The lawyer who represented the company in court stated that the work has been performed properly and on schedule. However, the defendants' lawyers disagreed with the argument, adding that the work contained multiple drawbacks.

In addition, the contractor has failed to submit the required documents.

First IT Alliance was established in 1999. According to its website, the company is engaged in web design and redesign, corporate style development, reengineering, IT support, promotion, optimization, advertizing and Internet research.
