NEW DELHI, January 22 - RAPSI, Alexander Nevara. The Pakistani special services have arrested five alleged Indian spies at two different locations in Lahore, Pakistani TV channel Geo News reported.

"The alleged spies are being interrogated by intelligence agencies. Maps and other important documents were recovered from the possession of the alleged spies," Geo News reported.

According to the Indian TV channel Zee News, the five men are believed to be Indian spies. The Pakistani authorities have not yet commented on the news.

Relations between India and Pakistan have soured over the past few weeks, following armed incidents in the disputed state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Two Indian soldiers were killed and later beheaded near the Line of Control at Mendhar on January 8.

India placed the blame on Pakistani servicemen, but Islamabad rejected the allegation and then claimed that a number of Pakistani servicemen had also been killed in Indian attacks.
