MOSCOW, July 23 - RAPSI. The Moscow Commercial Court refused to uphold the Arkhangelskoye estate museum's motion to prohibit the Defense Ministry and its Central Territorial Department of Property Relations from disposing of and using three land plots around the estate museum, the court told the Russian Legal Information Agency on Monday.

The motion to impose provisional measures was filed as part of the Arkhangelskoye museum's lawsuit against the Defense Ministry which disputes the order given to transfer three land plots near the museum for the unlimited use of Arkhangelskoye's Apartment Management Unit. The court will hear the lawsuit on July 27.

The court ruled that there were no grounds for granting an interim relief.

Previously, the defendant said that one of the land plots in question had been sold at an auction to Gradostroy.

The court involved the Defense Ministry's Central Territorial Department of Property Relations in the case hearing, as Arkhangelskoye's Apartment Management Unit is affiliated with it.

The estate is made up of a historical palace and park established in the late 18th century near Moscow. Renowned collector and art lover Prince Nikolay Yusupov bought Arkhangelskoye in 1810.
