TYUMEN, July 20 - RAPSI. A commercial court has fined Rosneft's subsidiary RN-Yuganskneftegaz $2,000 for unlawfully operating oil wells, the local prosecutor's office reports on Friday.

"It has been established that RN-Yuganskneftegaz unlawfully operated seven oil wells without due operating grants for over two months," according to the prosecutor's office.

Such clearance is mandatory for property operation, and certifies that construction has been completed in accordance with project specifications.

The court has satisfied the prosecutor's complaint in full.

RN-Yuganskneftegaz is Russia's largest oil producer. Its cumulative production was 1.9 billion tonnes of oil as of March 1. It operates 31 oil fields located in Rosneft's 35 licensed areas.
