MOSCOW, December 23 - RAPSI. Prosecutors opened 400 administrative cases over the illegal use of 2014 Winter Olympic Games symbols, the Prosecutor General's Office reported on Friday.

According to the Prosecutor General's Office, the organizing committee and prosecutors offices inspected over 200 stores and billboards in July.

"The Federal Antimonopoly Service opened and resolved 19 cases related to unfair competition and advertising practices at the organizing committees request in 2011. The individuals found guilty in illegal use of Olympic symbols were fined 23 million rubles in total," the Prosecutor Generals Office said.
