MOSCOW, December 15 - RAPSI, Sergei Feklyunin. A commercial court has registered an application for the bankruptcy of construction industry leader SU-155, the court told the Russian Legal Information agency (RAPSI/rapsinews.com).

Urban Development Company-NN filed the application on December 14. The date of its preliminary hearing has yet to be scheduled.

Court records show that the Nizhny Novgorod Commercial Court's decision to award the developer 49.6 million ruble ($1.6 million) in lawsuit against SU-155 came into force on October 18.

In addition, a trial court in Nizhny Novgorod passed three judgments to collect in total 77 million rubles ($2.4 million) from SU-155 in favor Urban Development Company-NN.
SU-155 is one of Russia's largest construction companies and has been operating for over 50 years. It comprises more than 140 independent entities, including 28 industrial facilities in 17 cities across Russia.
