IRKUTSK, September 21 - RAPSI. The court has postponed until October 19 its hearing of a lawsuit filed by several claimants, including the Trade Ministry, against a pulp and paper mill, the court told RIA Novosti on Wednesday.

The ministry and two companies seek to recognize the activities of the Baikalsk Pulp and Paper Mill's external manager as illegal. The ministry said the manager failed to duly inform it about the first meeting of the mill's creditors in March, which approved the external management plan up to 2012.

Earlier, it was reported that the court dismissed the ministry's lawsuit on Tuesday and refused to cancel the external management plan.

The Irkutsk Commercial Court on December 22, 2010 initiated the external management of the mill until June 22, 2012. The mill owed 1.7 billion rubles ($54 million) as of late 2010, while its market value is 1.6 billion rubles ($50.8 million). Its major creditors are Alfa Bank and Raiffeisen Bank.
