MOSCOW, February 26 - RAPSI. Investigators are searching the Rusal aluminum giant's Moscow office in the case of the non-payment of taxes worth 200 million rubles ($6.6 million), Investigative Department official representative Sergei Stukalov told RIA Novosti on Tuesday.

Earlier, investigators launched a tax evasion case against RUSAL Folga CEO Igor Kasyanov.

According to the company's website, RUSAL's head office is based in the same area.

No one is being let inside the building. Several police officers are currently at the reception desk. They have refused to answer RIA Novosti's questions.

Earlier, RUSAL said they considered groundless the tax officials' claims.

The Moscow Commercial Court ruling that provided the basis for the claims has not taken effect and will be appealed in accordance with the statutory procedure, the company's press service said.
