MOSCOW, June 16 (RAPSI) – Russia’s High Commissioner for Human Rights Tatiana Moskalkova has received 20,748 applications since the beginning of the year.

People send their complaints via mail, e-mail, social networks and phone in to the hot line, Moskalkova wrote on her Instagram page on Wednesday. Their concerns touch all spheres of protection of human rights and freedoms, including social insurance, observance of housing and labor rights, health protection, protection of human rights in criminal proceedings and so on, she stated.

Presently, the federal Ombudsman is examining 2,731 complaints.
