MOSCOW, January 26 (RAPSI) – Human rights commissioners received 45 complaints following an unauthorized rally held in Russian cities on January 23, the Federal Ombudsman Tatiana Moskalkova announced Tuesday.

According to Moskalkova, 19 applications were received in Moscow, about 20 in St. Petersburg, including collective complaints. The Sverdlovsk Region’s ombudsman received 5 applications, one of which concerns protection of the rights of a minor. One application was registered in the Yaroslavl Region and one complaint was filed with the Vladimir Region’s ombudsman, she wrote on her Instagram account.

All applications are personally controlled by Moskalkova.
