MOSCOW, December 11 (RAPSI) – Russia’s child rights commissioner Anna Kuznetsova received over 8,000 applications in the first eleven months of this year, a RAPSI correspondent reports Wednesday from the Civic Chamber.

The number of complaints increased by 16% in 2019 as compared 2018, Kuznetsova said at the meeting of the Coordination Council of Children’s ombudsmen.

Most of the filed applications address issues of family relations (about 30%), pecuniary (nearly 23%) and education (around 13%), according to the minors’ rights commissioner.
