MOSCOW, November 25 (RAPSI) – The Presidential Council for Human Rights deems it necessary to adopt a bill on prevention of domestic violence, a statement published on the advisory body’s website reads.

According to the body’s Deputy Chair Irina Kirkora, such legislation may protect victims and prevent crimes of this type.

She believes that the aggressors’ actions hurt not only women but also children seeing violence in their families.
