MOSCOW, December 4 (RAPSI) – Russian investigators have arrested four persons, suspected of planning an attack on Khabarovsk city’s district administration as well as of membership in an extremist organization, the press-service of the Khabarovsk Krai’s Investigative Committee department informs on Monday.

According to investigators, in August 2017, two residents of Khabarovsk decided to organize a nationalistic extremist group and induced two acquaintances to join them in criminal activity against people of non-slavic ethnicities.

The suspects obtained instruction manuals for production of homemade explosives, held shooting exercises and trained to throw petrol bombs. They planned to attack a street vendor and the administration for a city district in Khabarovsk, investigators said, adding that two of the arrested persons are students of a local university.

Investigators stated that the suspects wanted the populace to know who committed the crimes and manufactured a flag to mark each would-be crime scene.
