MOSCOW, July 26 (RAPSI, Diana Gutsul) – Officers of the Russia’s Investigative Committee had carried out searchers in the Federal Customs Service (FCS) in the framework of a probe into illegal large-scale deliveries of alcohol beverages and neglect to pay mandatory customs duties, Vladimir Markin, the Committee’s spokesperson, told RAPSI on Tuesday.

“On Tuesday, the searches were carried out, among other places, in the offices of Andrey Belyaminov, the FCS Head, his deputies Davydov and Strukov, as well as in Belyaminov’s apartment,” according to Markin.

Besides, investigators raided the office and apartment of Sergey Lobanov, CEO of Arsenal insurance company and founder of no less than 15 firms, whose activities are closely related to the FCS.

The Investigative Committee has informed that in the framework of this criminal case charges were pressed against billionaire Dmitry Mikhalchenko, CEO of Forum Holding Company, and several other suspects.

Mikhalchenko, CEO of Forum Holding Company, has been charged with alcoholic products trafficking and arrested yet on March 29. According to media sources, searches have been repeatedly conducted at the billionaire's office and country house. However, operational procedures have been held in connection with embezzlement at Russia’s Ministry of Culture.

Forum Holding Company established in 2011 is one of the largest multibusiness companies in Saint-Petersburg.

The company has united several dozens of the city’s enterprises and organizations. Forum Holding consists of industrial enterprises, such as "Spinning Mill named after S.M. Kirov", oldest textile industry enterprise in Russia, "Izmeron" factory, one of technological leaders of Russian downhole equipment market, according to the company’s website.
