An armed attack in a German court claimed the lives of two men Friday, the AP reported.

Shortly before 9am, two men – aged 45 and 50 – were killed. One was reportedly shot in the courtyard in front of the Frankfurt court, and the other was stabbed inside, according to the report.

Neither the identities of the victims nor of the suspected attacker have been released, though the suspect has reportedly been identified as an Afghan national from a nearby town, aged 47. He was arrested near the scene of the crime.
