BANGKOK, November 18 (RAPSI) - Two Russian nationals have been detained in Thailand on suspicion of fraudulent card use, National radio of Thailand reported Monday.

Two men were arrested in Nakhon Ratchasima, the second largest city in Thailand, when they were trying to withdraw money from a local ATM using several credit cards. One of them carelessly dropped several dozens of cards that's why local residents called the police immediately.

The representatives of the Russian embassy in Bangkok could not confirm the information because they haven't got an official notice.

In the past few months, alleged skimmer gang members from South Africa and Eastern Europe including Ukraine were detained in Thailand. But there were no Russians among them before.
