MOSCOW, March 14 - RAPSI. The ministry's security police will stop guarding commercial property in the near future, First Deputy Interior Minister Alexander Gorovoi said on Thursday. They will only guard energy facilities and other vital facilities stipulated by a government ruling.

"The facilities they vacate should be guarded by private security agencies," Gorovoi said.

The security police is a branch of the Interior Ministry which provides security services for facilities of all forms of ownership, including flats and other personal storage premises. At the same time, the security police also hold the same official duties as regular police officers.
