MOSCOW, June 26 – RAPSI, Sariya Kiut. The investigative authorities have accused Moscow lawyer Yevgeny Tolmachev of falsifying a court ruling to allow his client to keep his driving license.

The lawyer has been arrested, according to the Moscow City Court. In June, his term of custody was extended. Tolmachev filed an appeal, which will be heard on June 27.

According to the investigation, Tolmachev's client was soon to be deprived of his license for driving under the influence. He then asked his lawyer for help. Tolmachev allegedly produced a signed and stamped counterfeit court ruling, stating that his client could keep his license.

The lawyer is accused of fraud and forgery.
