MOSCOW, March 19 - RAPSI. Son of former Deputy Interior Minister Arkady Yedelev can become involved in a criminal case, the Kommersant newspaper reported on Monday.

Dmitry Yedelev heads one of Moscow state universities, whose employees are suspected of "abusing powers and extortion."

During the last year's search in the apartment of the former official's son the police found constituent documents of the Inkomstroy and Art-Service companies.

These companies, as law enforcement authorities believe, could be used for the embezzlement of budget funds.
