PERM, September 12 - RAPSI. A court sentenced two individuals to 13 and 12 years in prison for operating a clandestine drugs laboratory and drugs trafficking, the drug control police's press service reported on Monday without specifying when the sentence was passed.

Investigators revealed that Semyon Dolgopolov, 29, and Roman Shigapov, 24, used their business relations with chemical suppliers as well as registration documents issued by sham companies to produce and sell drugs.

According to the drug control police, they produced more than a kilogram of drugs monthly, each time increasing their output. The convicts contemplated expanding the laboratory to five times its size. They sold drugs in Perm and adjacent regions.

Their sentences have entered into force.
