MOSCOW, May 13 (RAPSI) – Russia’s lower house of parliament passed in the second and third readings on Wednesday a draft law allowing e-voting and voting via mail during state and municipal elections, regional and local referendums, according to the State Duma statement.

Amendments are expected to be introduced into the Law on main guarantees of electoral rights and rights to participate in referendums.

Cases and order of such voting are to be established by the Central Electoral Commission, according to the bill.
