MOSCOW, September 13 (RAPSI) – The Russian government has submitted a bill exempting any incomes of people suffered from terrorist attacks, natural disasters and other emergency situations from taxation to the State Duma. The document’s version has been published on the official database of the parliament’s lower house.

Amendments are proposed to the Tax Code of the Russian Federation.

Thus, under the bill, terrorism and emergency victims would not pay personal income taxes for proceeds received in material and natural forms and financial benefit including debt release. Moreover, their family members would be exempt from paying taxes for welfare assistance.

The incomes would be exempt from taxation despite their sources.
