MOSCOW, July 4 (RAPSI) – The State Duma is planning to discuss 24 bills aimed to facilitate the implementation of national projects; nine of the bills may be adopted at the spring session of the lower house of Russia’s parliament, according to Vyacheslav Volodin, the body’s Chairman.

The State Duma is to give priority to the discussion of the Government’s initiatives to become the basis of the implementation of national projects in line with the instructions by President Vladimir Putin, Volodin said.

No delay should be allowed as concerns the solution of such problems as family support, affordable housing, digitalization, which affect living standards of Russia’s citizens, the State Duma Chairman added.

Earlier, at a meeting with Cabinet members President Putin instructed the ministers to accelerate the development of all bills pertaining to the implementation of national projects in order to present the lawmakers an opportunity to adopt them at the Duma’s spring session.
