MOSCOW, February 22 (RAPSI) – The State Duma has passed in the third and final reading a bill specifying the procedure of entering Russia for fans coming to the 2018 FIFA World Cup from abroad without visas.

Now, a foreign fan with a personified card of a visitor filled in a digital form may enter Russia 10 days before the set date of the championship’s first match and leave Russia 10 days after the last match is concluded. Earlier, these rules were in place only for fans, who had their cards filled in paper form.

According to the bill, there is an option for representatives of accredited media to travel by train for free.

The FIFA World Cup in Russia will begin on June 14 and end on July 15, 2018. Russian cities that will host the football matches are: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Sochi, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Volgograd, Rostov-on-Don, Kaliningrad and Saransk.
