MOSCOW, June 9 (RAPSI) – Vadim Solovyov, a member of the Communist Party faction in the lower house of Russia's parliament, the State Duma, and the deputy head of the body's constitutional law committee, suggests banning foreign companies from recruiting young scientists to study abroad, Izvestia newspaper reported on Tuesday.

Foreign companies undermine the nation’s research potential, which could ultimately affect Russia’s economy and security, Solovyov said.

Authorities should identify promising young scientists and create conditions for their self-realization on the territory of the country, according to Solovyov.

In late May, the government approved a federal targeted program on education for 2016-2020, which would restructure universities, modernize the system of distance education and introduce employment contracts for education executives and teachers.
