MOSCOW, January 21 (RAPSI) – The heads of Russian state agencies are to plan the career of officials who hold revolving positions, Izvestia newspaper writes.  The ministries and departments will also select officials for the revolving positions and decide on the timeframe.

Dmitry Savelyev, deputy chair of the State Duma Financial Markets Committee, prepared these proposals for the second reading of the federal bill amending the law on state civil service.

“The documents to be prepared by department heads should name the officials who currently hold these positions and provide information about their contracts and the length of their service terms, as well as the succession pool, that is, the names of those who will replace current officials,” the newspaper writes.

These documents will also include information about the officials’ families and their relocation from region to region, if their appointment provides for this.  “According to the law, the length of service in a rotating position will range from three to five years,” Izvestia writes.
