MOSCOW, December 25 - RAPSI. Russian Liberal Democratic Party lawmakers will submit a bill to the parliament allowing dash cam footage to be used as evidence in court proceedings, RIA Novosti reported on Tuesday.

The bill is aimed at improving the quality of judicial expertise.

Navigation systems and dash cams became extremely popular in Russia and drew attention of lawmakers.

Another bill was submitted recently for consideration to the parliament banning the installation of such systems and dash cams near the windshield that could obstruct the driver's view.

Vyacheslav Lysakov, the ruling United Russia party lawmaker, confirmed earlier that the bill hasn't reached the relevant parliamentary committee yet.
