MOSCOW, December 4 - RAPSI. President Vladimir Putin has signed a law on the ratification of a contract with the Czech Republic on social maintenance.

The contract stipulates the regulation of social maintenance and obligatory insurance relations for Russian and Czech citizens and their family members, who permanently reside in Russia and Czech Republic.

The contract comprises issues of granting labor pensions, disability pensions, and loss-of-breadwinner pensions, paying medical and maternity and family benefits and funeral grants, and paying benefits under obligatory social insurance from industrial accidents and work-related diseases.

Pensions are granted based on the agreement while taking into account the labor experience acquired in Russia and the Czech Republic, excluding cases when the periods of the labor experience coincide.

The payment of benefits stipulated under the contract will be made in accordance with the legislation of the party to the contract, where the worker is insured and permanently resides.

There are 1,200 Russians permanently residing in the Czech Republic.

Expenses for 2013 from insurance premiums will amount to 126.3 million rubles ($4.1 million), 136.1 million for 2014 ($4.4 million), 146.8 million rubles for 2015 ($4.7 million).
