MOSCOW, November 22 - RAPSI. The Cabinet of Ministers ( the Russian government) has submitted a bill to the State Duma on considering cases at the commercial courts in the event of the death of an individual who is a party to the trial; the corresponding document was posted on the government's website on Thursday.

The amendments are to be introduced to the Civil Procedural Code and to the article of the Administrative-Procedural Code which obligates commercial courts to suspend proceedings if a party to the dispute dies and "the legal relationship allows for legal succession".

Now courts do not suspend cases if the deceased was a third party to the dispute with his own requirements. The bill has proposed applying the same rules to both cases.
