Parliament to crack down on homosexuality promotion
MOSCOW, March 29 - RAPSI. The Novosibirsk Legislative Assembly has submitted to the State Duma amendments to the Administrative Code proposing fines for promoting homosexuality among underage individuals, the State Duma reports on its website on Thursday.
The amendments propose to fine private individuals from 4,000 to 5,000 rubles (approx. $154), officials from 40,000 to 50,000 rubles ($1,300 - $1,700), and legal entities from 400,000 ($13,700) to 500,000 rubles ($17,000), the draft law reads.
