Judicial reform starts paying off - Supreme Commercial Court chairman
MOSCOW, November 21 - RAPSI. Supreme Commercial Court Chairman Anton Ivanov announced on Monday the initial results of President Medvedev's judicial reform. He said the amended judicial code that now allows documents to be submitted to court in electronic form is a major success of the reform.
"To start with, we have managed to amend the judicial code and to adapt it for submitting documents in electronic form. It is definitely a success for us, as few European countries have used this innovation so far," Ivanov said during an online conference at Gazeta.Ru.
He said another success is that corporate and financial market disputes are now under different jurisdiction.
Ivanov noted the establishment of judicial disciplinary tribunals as another positive change in the judicial system.
He concluded that the judicial reform have also boosted activities to establish a court for intellectual property rights disputes
