MOSCOW, October 12 - RAPSI. The Federation Council has approved on Wednesday a law authorizing more sources to publish legal acts, including the Internet portal pravo.gov.ru.

Currently, only Rossiyskaya Gazeta and Parlamentskaya Gazeta are officially authorized to publish new laws. A new law may come into force only after it is published in these newspapers.

The pravo.gov.ru Internet portal is a part of the state legal information system controlled by the Federal Protection Service, a government agency responsible for developing state policy, and supervising government security, communications and information.

The portal opened in 2010.
