Russian man suspected of treason placed in detention for three months
MOSCOW, April 13 (RAPSI) – Moscow’s Lefortovsky District Court on Tuesday ordered detention of Russian citizen Valery Golubkin suspected of treason until June 12, the court’s press service told RAPSI.
Details are not revealed. Under the law, the suspect could face up to 20 years behind bars if convicted.
According to the website of Moscow’s Institute of Physics and Technology, Professor Valery Golubkin specializing in the hypersonic flow of flying machine elements and aerodynamic optimization is one of the employees of the Professorship of Theoretic and Applied Aero and Hydromechanics.
