MOSCOW, November 19 (RAPSI) – Moscow’s Basmanny District Court will consider a petition filed by investigators seeking to detain the Moscow Region’s Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Dmitry Kurakin as part of a case over receiving a large-scale bribe, RAPSI has learnt from the court’s press office.

According to a representative of the court, investigators also seek to put two other suspects in the case Vladislav Kholodkov and Maxim An in detention.

Reportedly, Kurakin, who earlier headed the Defense Ministry’s contractual relations department, could be involved in the 4 billion-ruble (over $52 million) manipulations with military wood.
